By accessing or using RentDrift ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

RentDrift provides tools and services for landlords and property managers, including but not limited to:

• Rent drift analysis and inflation-adjusted rent calculations
• Lease generation and document management
• Compliance resources and regulatory guidance
• Tenant communication and rent collection tools
• Portfolio dashboards and analytics

All features and functionality are subject to change without notice.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

RentDrift may offer both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions
• Accept that subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law

We may change subscription fees upon notice. Price changes will take effect at the next billing cycle.

You retain ownership of any content or data you submit to RentDrift ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit
• User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
• You have obtained appropriate consent from tenants before entering their personal information

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property or other proprietary rights
• Transmit harmful code, malware, or spam
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

RentDrift and its content, features, and functionality are owned by RentDrift and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

RentDrift provides analytical tools and guidance. We do not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Lease documents and compliance information should be reviewed by qualified legal professionals. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information provided through the Service.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentDrift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RentDrift and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
